But I hadn't forgotten what an equivocator you are. Jlallen posted that "eddie and his ilk" predicted that "thousands" of soldiers would come home in body bags (presumably during the course of the invasion.) He posted that we were wrong. I posted back that I hadn't predicted thousands of body bags during the invasion and challenged him to produce a post. You stuck your nose in and reposted where I'd said that if Bush or Jallen were coming home in body bags, or if their children were, they would take a different attitude toward the war. That was, by the way, posted AFTER the invasion was over. I asked you how that was proof that I'd said that thousands of soldiers would come home in body bags. You said it implied that most or all of them would come home in body bags. I asked you to break it down and tell me how you could come up with that interpretation. Now you repeat your unsubstantiated conclusion as fact and say that I was wrong but that I'll never "admit it." I'll tell you what, why don't you break down my post and tell me how it can be interpreted to say what you so shamelessly claim? Remember, in the real world we can't just say things over and over again and claim we "proved" them. That's what got us in trouble in Iraq and that's what is getting you in trouble here. In the real world we have to use logic and facts. Show some facts and logic or, if you can't, then just declare victory and cut and run. Your "ilk" might want to get in some practice at that anyway because I'm sure you'll be doing a lot more of that soon. Ed
