If Hitler hadn't broken his pact with Stalin, the very best outcome of the war in Europe would have been a stalemate between the 2 continental powers and Fortress England. More likely, England would have been invested and starved before being over-run. And there would have been nothing we could have done about it. We wouldn't even have a staging ground to attack Europe and England.
We probably would have continued the war in the Pacific, just out of Pearl Harbor bloodlust, but, if Hitler had decided to leave Russia alone, there would have been no war in Europe by '43. On our Eastern and Southern flanks, it would have been Fortress American Hemispheres.
