Same difference as a chick and an egg, numbskull.
And that's a big difference. If you bought a dozen eggs and the shells were filled with hatchlings you wouldn't be happy.

No woman in her right mind is going to abort a six month old fetus. But a 6 day old fertilized egg is fine. Or even six weeks. The first formations of human characteristics don't appear in the womb until about 5 months. That's when there's the first sign of a spinal cord. Before that, we're not much different than any other animal, including tadpoles. But almost all abortions are carried out when the potential fetus is no more than the size of a pea or lima bean. If the woman wants to go through with, fine.

Also, more and more we have to deal with reality. We have far too many people on this planet. We need more and more birth control, not less. If we don't contain population growth people are going to die one way or another. Famine, drought, pandemics, toxic pollution, wars over scarce resources, whatever.
