EMFP: Very strange indeed. If one can, as it appears is the case, contract bird flu through an open wound or by rubbing their eyes, then indeed the mask will not protect one completely. However, would the mask protect one in the sense that the chance of getting sick is reduced by say 90% or some other number? Was there any mention of when and where the gov't. did the tests or which branch of the gov't. are we talking about here? Was it only EMFP's mask that were trashed or was it all masks? Somethings seem missing from the story. That said, bad pr will not help EMFP.
