Well she's only 13 and I kinda want to keep her closer to home still :O)

Besides she skates, likes music and band also... sucks at history, but is pretty good at math... up here we have some alternative (specialised) public high schools and you can apply to two besides her home school... (actually my kids are in French immersion) so she gets one extra school choice (French / non French)... but still only two alternative school options .. We're applying to one which is overwhelmingly arts ... two streams performing and visual and the one tonight has strong arts but is also extremely academically oriented... The stronger arts school forces her to burn some bridges a little early I find... At any rate there is a lottery even after acceptance due to high demand so we may be shut out still.. Then I get to mortgage my house and cough up for private school :o(

I get to do it all over again 7 years from now LOL... sigh... :o)
