By the way, I hear that reenlistment bonuses have reached $150,000.

Yep.. but only for certain specialities, and for SpecOps soldiers which have a certain numbers of years of experience as I understand it.

It's an incentive to keep already trained and experiences "operators" rather than being aimed at new, and relatively unproven new recruits.

However, the bonuses for SpecOps, overall, is far higher than for other skill sets, as well it should be.

Little spoken reality is that the SpecOps folks are the ones TRULY carrying the battle to the doors of AQIZ. Yes.. when the enemy forces mass in a particular region, the convential forces will eventually deploy against them (Al Qa'im, Ubaydi, Husaybah, Ramadi, Mosul..etc). But before they ever get to that point, SpecOps forces are conducting nightly "activities" aimed at targeting AQIZ leadership on Kill/Capture raids.

They operate in the shadows, because that is the nature of their business. They don't seek the limelight.. just the self-satisfaction of a "mission accomplished".
