"Then why not impeach Bush? If he did something "illegal", then he should be brought before Congress and charged. What are you waiting for?" The results of the '06 election. R's in Congress are neither honest nor courageous nor independent enuf to impeach Shrub. Ain't a lot of real Americans among the R's in Congress, unlike in Nixon's time.

For the umpteenth time, why do you insist on being ignorant? Why? You claim all this knowledge and yet you show just unbelievable ignorance on a topic which you bring up all by yourself. Impeachment is a POLITICAL PROCESS. It requires, therefore, the House of Representatives to impeach the President. The House is controlled by REPUBLICANS who are not going to impeach one of their own because they put party ahead of country. This issue comes up again and again and again. The next time it pops up in your head repeat this mantra: Impeachment is a political process.
