SG, Neal, Tom - re EMFP - apparently the report was ok until it said that EMFP was being investigated. The mask is not subject to FDA and no claims are made that it prevents the flu. It's as others have pointed out a common sense thing.

If you can reduce chances with a mask, the mask will sell and it is selling like hotcakes as fast as it can be made. N95 masks are selling like hotcakes also.

It's like the infomercials that sell Vitamins for various reasons. There is no problem with selling Vitamins and Minerals and herbs, etc. The FDA does not get involved.

What happened here is that this has been so hot that distributoships have been sprouting up all over the internet and they have been making their own inflated claims totally independent of EMFP.

Apparently, someone reported one of these to the FDA and that is the issue.

What I find more interesting is that when the stock ran up well over a buck the first time, there was that bogus article by Marketwatch writer who trashed the company as a hurricane play. The guy admitted that he knew nothing about the company or its product so that's why he said it was a hurricane play. He didn't apologize but said he'd think about it in the future depending on how things played out.

I've been accused of seeing shorties behind everything, but EMFP with a couple of bogus reports that have hit the mainstream media, clearly makes you go

hmmmmmmm

Perhaps a buying opportunity.

I doubt anything is going to stop the sales of the masks. Even if the FDA came out and said it was a waste of money, which they won't as it is not in their jurisdiction, people are going to buy these things as they are now with Tamiflu or anything that looks like tamiflu. You could say the same thing about Tamiflu, i.e., that there is no proof that it will help with the bird flu. There is no vaccine that has been proven to help, even though we see vaccine stocks going to highs.

I've seen 2 penny stock companies now go up big time by changing their business plans and putting out PR's with wild claims about bird flu.

Don't know if any of you follow CMBV. It is a subpenny gold mine play in Cambodia. When it sunk down to about .0003, they changed their business plan to gambling casinos in Cambodia. That didn't do much.

Shortly after the bird flu hysteria hit, they put out a PR that they were taking over a company with a bird flu treatment. Sound realistic? What was the result?

Almost instant 20 bagger. Doesn't even have that many bashers. They are still issuing PR's about "expectations" about how the product will treat the flu.

My point is that a company like EMFP which has a real product will thrive. Further, this is not their only product, as their government, military and wholesale lines down the road are much more important to both top and bottom line to the company.
