If we can't stop them now and you acknowledge we won't stop them in the future, why then would the illegals bother with any legal paperwork under a new plan? Why not stay "hidden" and not have the government watching you to make sure you're "accountable"? Making them legal and accountable means what? THat the employer will start paying SS, medicare, federal state local income taxes, workers comp insurance, etc? I don't think so, the employers want cheap labor and the illegals would rather get as much as they can in cash NOW forget paying taxes. With open uncontrolled boarders this plan is just hot air.
