I think the margarine folks (Archer Daniels Midland?) might say that soy oil is C-H-E-A-P... and therefore 'good' for consumers.

(Too bad it doesn't look anything like butter though until they hydrogenate it to make it solid --- there comes your trans-fat --- and add food dyes so it doesn't look like lard or Crisco.)

Or maybe they would just swipe the tag line from the American Chemical Association: 'Chemicals are good for you!' :)
