Maybe because having to live one's life in constant fear of being deported is undesirable?? Yeah right, I'm sure they live in constant fear of deportation. How many get deported each year once they get past the borders? Very few, and even if they get deported they can be back within a week. There's a big demand for illegals because they're cheaper, that's the prime reason businesses want illegals.. to save money not because they can't find legal workers. (Let's ignore fruit pickers here, probably illegals are the only ones they can find. Not many people can live a migrant lifestyle unless you're coming from someplace even worse than that).
