Actually I'm hoping the global warming should just about counteract it... cooling from NA drift halting is estimated at 1-6C, most likely ~1-2, which pretty much balances out the 1-5C warming in our latitudes.

Anyway I'm less than 220' elevation, so the cooling would not be so immediate a worry as being underwater... hey, maybe if the Thames froze the ice would keep out the ocean? LOL.

failing that look for a little party of Brits to turn up in Cal. A shame that both Portland and SF will be similarly submerged, those are such fine cities...
