However, the vast majority of abortions are performed on women who didn't even bother with "Plan B." Sure...because you need a prescription to get it. The "moral" right strongly opposes moving it to over the counter. The FDA has ignored twice the recommendation of its own internal advisory panel who recommended that it be moved over the counter...twice...the "moral" right has lobbied the FDA with a vengeance. Plus there are reasons why "Plan B" is never recommended except for emergencies. Such as? As far as I know the drug is considered to be perfectly safe. Al
