The religious right doesn't give a damn about anything but repression of sexual freedom, womens rights and making money. Abortion to them is just a juicy wedge issue, mainly because they can whip out disgusting photos and use their shock value to disinform people and get donations out of them. Same thing PETA does, only worse. Guess what though, it won't work. If the rightwing ever criminalizes abortion rights, they'll be voted out of power for a long-long time. When it comes right down to it, women (and many men) don't want a bunch of dickless rightwing prudish men telling them what to do withy their bodies.
