" I don't think that's really a fair statement. I think they seem to hold their ideology higher than their country because you don't agree with them, but really, they are just way out there because they think only their ideology will save the country/world/whatever. I think they really do believe the "other" side- (whichever side that is) is going to destroy the country, immediately. I tend to think they are wrong (both sides), but I understand why they are so passionate. They are fired up about their ideas. It can't be easy being a zealot of any variety. It must take a lot of energy.
