My point Chris is that we all should stop the name calling and try to have the debate without it. BJ Billy Bubbah is as bad as chimp or dumbya. I still expect spirited debate but done with the spirit of a debating team not that of second grade boys bathroom humor. I think you can do that just as bill can if what you said is true. And please no more billy, mikey or chrissy stuff. I plead guilty to doing the above at an earlier time. It adds nothing to the debate and makes it impossible for the parties debating to ever understand that we all share common heritage and in most case love of country, family etc. In NYC on 9/11 there were no libs, cons, dems, and the same is true for our soldiers in iraq. We should hava the decency to do this here as well. mike

But I acknowledge the debate has usually stopped by the time those labels get thrown around.

What I see here is some people like you trying to seriously debate issues while using juvenile references for many of the players. As X says, that compromises the impact of your argument.
