government would still be funded by extortion I think this argument is fundamentally intellectually dishonest. I think its the exact opposite of that. Its recognizing reality. Note, it isn't an argument for now government or no taxes. I'm not saying "get rid of all of it because it is extortion". I'm just recognizing that it is extortion, even while I do support a certain amount of it, not as an unalloyed good thing, but as being better than the alternative. Tim
