At one day to six weeks, abortions are ethical. After that they begin becoming less and less ethical. At 4-5 months they are unethical, which is why almost no women on the planet ever abort after about 3 months. But even at 4-5 months, the foetus is not a "child" yet, it is still a potential child. It doesn't become a "child" until a C-section could produce a living baby. That would be about 8 months.
