Most abortions take place before there is even anything really visible. No more than the size of a pea. Replicating cells basically driven by human DNA. A miracle is beginning to take place, but the "caterpillar" or even the "chicken's egg" doesn't take shape for about 5 months. That is when one can first begin to see a potential human.

The whole argument that a microscopic fertilized human egg is a "child" is ridiculous. You should have your head examined if you believe that.

As I've explained, this debate isn't about foetuses. The religious right wants to regulate our sexual behavior, that's all, starting with women, whom they consider second class citizens not capable of making decisions by themselves. It is all very backward and irrational. It's definitely ethical to remove a fertilized human egg if you don't want to have a baby. Lady's choice, not yours.
