they have a lot of Conservative bias!
Hmmmm. What went wrong? :-)

Let me put to you a question I have put to many who oppose the war and have received many evasions, many refusals to answer, but no answers: What happens if the US pulls out tomorrow? Or 3 months from now?

All I can see is
1. probably an Iraqi civil war for control of the country
2. probably an Iranian invasion of an old enemy. This ultimately strenghthens Iran, an old enemy of ours and a likely nuclear power. It makes the possibility of nuclear war in the ME quite likely. (Remember recent statements by the Iranian gov't about Israel.) We (and you, my friend) are likely to be involved in such a mess.
3. possibly a Turkish invasion from the north with the dual intents of keeping the Iranians from getting everything and keeping a Kurdish state carved out of Iraq from inspiring rebellion in Turkish Kurds.

or

An Islamic Iraqian theocracy simililar to Iran. From our POV, this might be the best outcome. At least there is a reasonable chance they will be content in their own misery and leave us alone.

or

A terrorist state in league with al Qaeda. This is not incompatible with Iran getting part of Iraq and possibly Turkey getting part. This is the worst outcome from our POV. It is simplistic to believe that within a few years, such a state would not perform an act against the US (say, a nuclear weapon explodes in a leaky freighter in NY harbor and kills several million Americans) that would force us into war with Iraq again- -for real this time. The current fracas will look like an elementary school dress rehearsal in comparison. And, again, because the US has been attacked, Canada is involved because of the mutual defense treaty between our countries.

Now what's your solution?

Everyone is entitled to an opinion on anything.

Not if you are a student at certain "liberal" universities. There, even holding certain opinions, let alone expressing them, is prohibited.

Try hanging a Confederate flag on the wall of your dorm at certain schools and see just how much you're entitled to the opinion that the South was right.
