APNO 1.34 x 1.35 for fans of tiny float, low promoted prospects. This is the former XTRN which was r/s 1/10. At some point, this is going to be promoted.

It drifted down close to a dollar on very light volume and has just shifted direction with light volume. The spread hsa been narrowed from the .10-.20 it was before.

O/S is under 10 million

Alpha Innotech had revenues of $10.5 million for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2004, and expects revenues to increase at least 15% for the year ending December 31, 2005, as compared to the prior year. So that’s $16 million.

If you read the fairness opinion and filings in connection with the merger, you see that the company was valued perhaps at least 2x current price and, in fact, was selling as high as $3 range pre split.

The XTRN insiders could have liquidated and cashed out with over the equivalent of about $2.50 so they must feel that this is worth more than that.

About Alpha Innotech

Founded in 1992, Alpha Innotech Corporation develops, manufactures and markets digital imaging and detection systems for the Life Science research and Drug Discovery markets. Our goal is to combine instruments, reagents and bioinformatics software to offer integrated modular technology platforms for functional genomics, proteomics and cell analysis markets. Our customers include pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies as well as universities, medical centers, government research institutes and agencies worldwide.

Our products address two segments of the life science research market.

Gel Documentation:

Our digital imaging system for gel documentation are used to detect, archive, and analyze fluorescent, chemiluminescent and visible samples such as DNA, proteins and bacterial colonies. In addition, we offer a full range of software and reagents to complement our detection systems, including a 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software package.

MicroArray/Multiplexed Arrays:

Our new products address the growing microarray applications market which includes a multiplexed arrays technology platform (few targets—many samples) for high throughput analysis of DNA, protein and cell arrays in microplates and on other substrates. The multiplexed array platform can be used for a number of applications including high throughput screening, diagnostics, personalized medicine and biosurveillance.

Our goal is to be a total solutions provider by bringing easy to use and cost effective solutions in gel documentation and array systems to the broader scientific community. Flexibility in all of our platforms allows us to address multiple applications in the emerging molecular and systems biology marketplace.
