In choir yesterday we were auditioning soloists for "O Holy Night" I was listening to Christmas music in the car yesterday. That's all that's on this time of year. Leontine Price was singing O Holy Night and Ave Maria. O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas carol. I was struck once again by how sweet but powerful it is. There are many wonderful Christmas carols. I miss the time when Christmas was about peace on earth, goodwill toward men. On the plus side, though, it has become much easier for those of us who don't "do" Christmas to get some respite from what has turned into an annual rat race. You can actually find TV shows on Christmas that aren't about Christmas and even some open stores.
