"now approaching it's 4 billion-th birthday"

and that would be speaking about what we so far have observed in terms of physical traces of what essentially is NON PHYSICAL.

If you are interested in a time-slice of say 600 mil years, here's an interesting account. (Urantia = This Planet)

urantiabook.org

If you want to reach back a little further, say,

875,000,000,000 years ago

you could start the tale here:

But, needless to say, we would only be talking about LOCAL
history. (more or less describing the history of the McKinney Falls section of Austin as if it were the story of the whole town, and that there were nothing but that section).

So clearly local history alone doesn't cut it and we are over in the domain of the Astronomers and Astrophysicists who aren't at all interested in local matters.

Since that which is essentially FORMLESS exists irrespective of beginnings and endings, and time without beginnings and endings tends to look more like eternity.....

and if we truly ARE that which lives us, and not just this currently embodied one.....

Namaste!
