That is the 64 dollar question that Roxmark aims to answer. The Leitch ran to 3800 feet and the Sand River, not far away ran to depth too. A consortium inlcuding the ill fated Lac, Teck Corp and Pat Sheridan drilled on the Leitch for one winter and got values throughout their program. On the basis of that work and other work they have their hands on, Roxmark has put together Rox thinks they can maybe mine that zone and
a few other zones on strike.

The grade of their 800 tons east Leitch sample was disappointing, at 0.156 ozs/T, but they took the thing 10 feet wide to get the shovel in there. The Leitch and sand river were narrow zones, mined narrow to keep grade up. If they had stayed at 3 feet wide, then the zone might have been 0.5 ounces per ton, but of course then the sample would have been only 300 tons.
