I provided you with a link to find out all you want to, Peter....

After all, much of those 13 volumes may be available to the public now --- and there was certainly MUCH WRITTEN obout the Government's massive planning project for a full THREE YEARS BEFORE THE WAR... right up until they finished the plan a few months before the war.

And, of course, there was another spate of news when the plan was *dumped* just before the attack (plenty of Pentagon and State Department conversations about that turn of events, as one would expect).

And of course: plenty of MORE talk and commentary about the whole process as the 'neo-cons' back-of-the-envelope sort of plan began to go seriously off the tracks ALMOST IMMEDIATELY, with the widespread looting in Iraq, the firing of 200,000 Iraqi troops (many of the newly unemployed went STRAIGHT over to the nascent insurgency and began to beef it up. :(

If you REALLY 'want more evidence' like you CLAIM --- it ain't hard to find at all, and I've already pointed you in the right direction.

Google and the name "Future of Iraq Project" is ALL YOU NEED.

PLENTY of details easily available....

But it sounds like you *really* don't want to know, Peter... like you'd prefer to cling to a fantasy instead of deal with the reality of the situation.

Your choice, I guess.
