Ted, Majority says Wal-Mart bad for America: poll

I wonder how many of them still go to Wal-Mart for some of their shopping needs.

Last time I was there, the place was frickin' crowded. That plus narrow aisles, poor layout, and unhelpful employees made my experience there less than positive.

And yet, people continue to shop there.

I don't think that's what people were saying in the poll. My take.......its what Wal Mart stands for........poorly paid employees, no health benefits, they go into small towns and drive out any competition in the area........they are not good neighbors. Just a store with cheap prices.

The Wal mart concept goes against the notion that you can treat people decently and fairly, and still be successful in business. Of course, the Waltons would not have gotten as wildly rich in as short a period of time. But for some, that's just plain unacceptable.
