thought the argument from authority was when you included an authority IN your own argument This argument seems to be a variation. The article implies that since no well known authority was included in the charge then the charge is stupid. I.E. only an authority could lend credence to the charge. I think this refutation of Bush's alleged ranking is only being made now because only now is there a chance that this assesment might be seriously considered. TP
