China Digital Communication Group Enters Into Strategic Partnership to Establish Market Presence in the Middle East
China Digital Communication Group (OTC BB: CHID), one of the fastest growing battery components manufacturers in China, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Shenzhen E'Jenie Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. ("E'Jenie"), has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Jian Feng Trading Co., a leading global importer/exporter with 2004 annual sales of $25 million. Established in 2001, Jian Feng specializes in the global distribution of electronic communication products, such as corded telephones, cellular telephones, fax machines and lithium ion batteries.

Pursuant to the agreement, E'Jenie will develop lithium ion battery products for exclusive distribution and marketing by Jian Feng in the Middle East. A new generation of consumer electronic devices, such as digital cameras, camera phones and high performance portable computing devices, are projected to fuel the worldwide growth of the primary and secondary battery markets.

Yi Bo Sun, China Digital's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "While we anticipate strong, internal growth through domestic sales in China, we continue to execute a strategy focused on external growth, targeting geographic markets with the highest growth potential. We believe the market for lithium-ion batteries in the Middle East is robust, driven by an influx of new consumer electronic products such as PDAs, MP3 players and cell phones. We are excited to partner with Jian Feng, one of the major communication products distributors in the Middle East market. Our manufacturing and research and development expertise can be leveraged with Jian Feng's marketing and multi-level distribution channels to establish an immediate presence to capture market share in the Middle East."
