CNN was so stunned it aired a segment on the economy trucking right along after recovery from Katrina and gas prices, etc. They couldn't restrain themselves from showing a bar chart comparing the recovery with other recoveries, and lo, it was the shortest bar (after three months and comparing to other recoveries that went to full term) so it's really not all that great anyway. CNN looks a gift horse in the mouth. They complain about the ribbon on the package it came in. They complain about the wrapping paper. They complain about the gift inside. There is no pleasing them.
