Don't know if you've read Matt Simmon's Twilight in the Desert, but finished it this week, by far the best book I've read on the topic of energy. From start to finish it's a no fluff presentation, and a great format for the intelligent layman to understand oilfield depletion. A slide review is available here for those just seeking a synopsis:

Darffot, you seem to have a handle on Xbox 360 situation. How do you think its launch will affect this shopping season?

EDIT: I see Xbox360 still fetches $800 on Ebay.
