>> Only God has the right to stand in judgement of another. <<

yes, but God declares his judgments through his Church and through the sacred scriptures, for the sacred scriptures are a property of the Church. oftentimes i am accused of condemning others with my own personal judgement. as great a sinner that i am, i'm certain that on occasion this is true.

yet, many a time i am delivering the judgments of Christ and his Holy Church. quite often my detractors do not know the righteous judgments of God so they assume i am passing on my personal judgment.

Christ has given us all the righteous judgments we need via his Church, which as i said, not only possesses the sacred scriptures, but guides us to the proper interpretation of that scripture.

so don't listen to liars such as alan w who claim that i am passing on unrighteous judgments against the jews and others.

"...he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:18)

if the unbelieving jews do not believe they are already condemned. i am doing the most loving thing i know, which is to warn them that they are going to perish if they do not repent.

alan w is the real jew hater, for he denies them the knowledge of the truth, so they will like him. i love the jews by telling what they need to be told even if it means i will be reviled for it.

>> As an example, I have known Christians raised in a Catholic religious culture who are free from the constraints of false teaching and were happy and joyous,... <<

if they rejected the errors of the roman papist church but were not orthodox, they certainly accepted a different set of errors.

>> ...letting the Holy Spirit be their teacher even though there religion still taught confession to Priests. <<

confession to a priest goes back to apostolic times and is perfectly orthodox. now i am not condoning the method the roman catholics employ, but the act of confessing to a priest is a sacrament in the Orthodox Church and it must be participated in.

as for this foolish notion that protestants teach that everyone has their own personal teacher the Holy Spirit dwelling in them as their own private tutor, that is hogwash.

in the vast majority of cases, the "spirit" they are talking about is the "spirit of error", not the Holy Spirit.

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. (1 John 4:6)

notice a "spirit-filled" protestant will never admit that they are being taught by the spirit of error rather than the Spirit of Truth.

i strongly urge you and everyone on this thread to read this essay titled:

>> I used to pass judgement on whole movements only to find that many of those within that religious culture did not follow many of the teachings as God had raised them to follow the guidance of the Spirit. <<

so what you're saying is that it is perfectly acceptable to join a church but pick and choose with your own private interpretation what you want to follow and what you don't wish to follow. in other words let's all just worship however we feel like it! that's a religion everyone can get behind! we're not accountable to anyone but ourselves!

santiago, try turning off your television set and then reach for the bible!

you are seriously confused santiago. God have mercy on you.

>> I find that most all protestant churches teach end times doctrine that is totally false... <<

then why would you continue to go to them??

>> yet I have no churches in my area I could attend if I refused to go because of doctrinal differences. <<

so what you're saying is that you've given up on searching for the truth because it didn't fall right into your lap the way you hoped it would have. i went to 40 different churches before i found the true Chuch, the Holy Orthodox Church. i bet you have never even investigated Orthodox Christianity. yet i have told you repeatedly that is what you should do. you clearly rejected my counsel and you will have to account for that on the day of judgment. you will not be able to claim ignorance as your defense. you have had the true Church presented to you and you would rather go out with your friends or watch t.v. or goof-off on the internet than to search out truth.

i call heaven and earth as my witnesses that i am guiltless of the blood of all of you.

>> Does God want me to forsake attending church and not be in the company of other believers because of doctrinal differences? I have still been unable to answer that question with any certainty. <<

if you have not found orthodox believers to fellowship with, even if they do not live in your area, that is because you have not sought. you have not asked, so you have not received. you have not knocked loudly enough, so the door has not been opened.

we can't blame others for our lack of desire to know the truth.

now i must warn you, that the apostasy has snow-balled to such an extant that even most churches that call themselves Orthodox are not truly Orthodox any longer. in fact, i am making preparations to move thousands of miles myself, just so i can attend a true orthodox parish. that is how scarce the truth is becoming in these last days.

however, if you really care about truth that should not hold you back. i will provide you with everything you need. i have tens of thousands of pages if not hundreds of thousands of pages of Church fathers for you to read. i know some good Orthodox websites you can learn from. i even know some good parishes you could attend if you were to tell me where you lived.

i have many orthodox prayers that you could say. i could tell you a number of things you could do right in your own home to draw closer to Orthodoxy.

all you have to do is ask, seek, and knock...
