I see. I don't either. I've never revealed anyone's real name when I knew it. (Although I can't guarantee I wouldn't break under torture.) In my case, though, my real name and my screen name are the same.

As a practical matter, it would not be particularly helpful to know my first name when tracking me down as I'm listed in the phone book with just my first initial so there's no reason not to use it.

For the record, I'm not bothered by being referred to as kholt, only addressed that way, weird though that may be. (I noticed Rambi being her sweet self and not referring to me that way, even when it was awkward. Bless her heart. Gee, I'm already sorry I mentioned it. <g>)
