NS,

haven't we talked about this subject enough? <gggg>

After I responded to ild, I was dreading the thought of having to go through this all over again.

There are so many different circumstances that we can either spend hours on this now or just wait to see what the lenders will do.

Aside from purchase money, there is also the issue of fraud. How about all those stated income loan applications that we know are technically fraudulent. Would the lenders go after that group of borrowers? Would they abandon the trustee's sale in favor of judicial foreclosures? How about all the HELOCs? They are going to be in a world of hurt. How are they going to try to recover?

That is why I believe that if we do not have a soft landing, the consequences are going to be uglier than Roseanne Barr.
