The rightwing stands for keeping women down, barefoot and pregnant, dominating them and segregating them from minority men. This phobia goes back a long way. Back to the days before women were even allowed to vote. In fact, back to the days when Genesis was edited to turn Lilith into a snake. Taking away their reproductive rights as well as denying them sex ed and birth control and useful ways to keep women under control, legislative chastity belts so to speak. You see, the abortion debate has nothing to do with the unborn, it has to do with conservative male domination.
