this is a test :0)

The difficulty I always have with gold is that it does not produce anything, pay a dividend, or have a growth rate and it has a carry cost associated with holding it.

My call on gold? Trick question.

Relative to real value: Flat. In a year, an ounce of gold will very likely buy roughly the same number of barrels of oil, or tons of wheat as will today.

Relative to currencies: Currencies are falling, some faster than others. In a year, we will be able to trade that ounce of gold for many more dollars, euros, or yen than it will cost us today.
