In fact, apartment rents may go up if joe6paks cannot afford their MacMansions anymore.

Ramsey, there may be more demand for rentals, but there are going to be a hell of a lot of vacant homes that can't be sold that desperate owners will be trying to rent. In some areas, that should keep apartment owners from raising rents.

Didn't someone post some $1 mil places in CA renting for $2k/month?
