Yes, Hubbard was unaware of the size of the debt and the size of the estimated future SS liability.

The National Debt is $8.1 Trillion.

I understand how the Intragovernmental Holdings work. But when someone uses the phrase "National Debt" that has a specific meaning.

The Boomers prepaid their SS ... but some people think this was just another General Fund tax. Personally I think those people should at least be tarred and feathered ...

The estimated SS liability is $3.7 Trillion, not $11 Trillion. Even the $3.7 Trillion number is probably overly pessimistic (Like all the SS estimates in the past). The $11 Trillion number is a lie and has been proven false (repeatedly).

Yes, Hubbard is either incompetent or a liar.
