The rightwing will be swept out of power in 2006 in all blue states, purple states and half the red states. Ohio and Pennsylvania, for instance, will hardly have any Republicans left in major positions of power. Florida and California will also be rid of some of their top Republicans. In fact even Texas is in play and some Republicans will lose there.

Furthermore, the Bush-Cheney-Rove-DElay-Frist corruption trials will make it more and more apparent that this country was snookered, lied-to, defrauded and our democracy stolen from us by this Texas gang of thieves.

My views are centrist-progressive, not "left". I am more conservative in some ways that Bush, mainly on the fiscal side of things. I am very concerned about conserving our public wealth, standard of living, military might, environmental quality and ethics and morality in government.
I am also against gay marriage.

Furthermore, I am for concentrating on real terrorists and not lying to the public about why we must invade countries unrelated to direct threats. Finally, I would be glad to have a GOP moderate-conservative like CHuck Hagel in the White House so long as he acts in a bi-partisan fashion.

Wouldn't make a scintilla of difference to the final outcome -- which is, a completely destabilized Iraq with civil war for decades among the various groups while the US troops are caught in the crossfire protecting the so-called elected government camped inside the Green Zone...
