Both Gore and Kerry were victims of Rove's election fraud and dirty tricks campaigns. It's a real tragedy because Bush was not the president most Americans wanted. And now, boy do most of us wish we could redo those elections. Kerry would make a great president, but he's not a great campaigner, and doesn't have the stomach to fight dirty. He is too honest and ethical. What we need now are stronger election reform laws. Less money in politics, ways to investigate Diebold machines, to make sure everyone who wants to vote can vote, making smear campaigns illegal (truth in advertising required) and for elections to be certified.
