Liar. Kerry went un-contested in 2002. The GOP didn't even dare run anyone against him. Almost unheard of. Kerry didn't need to spend a dime to hold onto his seat. Also, if money bought senate seats Pete Coors in Colorado would now be a senator. SO would a lot of super rich guys who've tried and failed over the years. Money is very important, but most important is integrity. Kerry has as much integrity as any national leader. He has an almost crystal clean record and rarely makes mistakes. His only mistake in recent years was trusting Bush-Cheney for one minute.

Also, Kerry cannot use his wife's money to run. Only $2000 of it. His own net worth is quite small, just about 1.5 million now.
