Actually, I did spend sometime in Yugoslavia when it was under Tito, the mid 1970's.

My sister did too during the same period........

He was also one of the few guys who faced down Stalin and the Soviets. Of all the commies, he was the most capitalist (western) leaning.

I agree with you here, Tito was the best of them. Best of all evils. I'd just as soon see anarchy rather than totalitarianism.
