Think about this.
Okay,
If you look at the movie Bldg. 7 collapsed from the bottom (unlike the twin towers). In effect, there was no supports and so it would be expected to fall.

Imagine, if you will, that there were explosions going off as each floor fell. Some of the explosive force would have been directed upwards thereby negating the force of gravity and it would have taken longer for the building to fall.

Think about it.
