For the record, I think we liberals are guilty of the same thing when we brand anyone who utters the word 'God' as a religious fanatic. This is a real blind spot for most liberals (and I am as guilty as most).

These sort of issues are real 'dialogue stoppers', and lead to the legislative constipation we're now experiencing.

I'm also calling you out as a liar, Tideglider. You infer in your post that there is something shameful about John Kerry's sexuality. since I know to be 100% hetero and faithful to his wife, you are now in the hot seat to back up your scurrilous insinuation.

Either put up some evidence to back up your slur, or apologize to the thread and your country. Got it?

The fact is, that Karl Rove, who is probably gay himself and rumored married to Grover Norquist, also possibly the "john" who brought gay escort Jeff Gannon into the WH 197 times, has made a career out of smearing opponents for being "gay", even when he knows damn well there's no truth to it whatsoever. His past victims include Anne Richards and John McCain. He didn't dare call Kerry gay in 2004, but since his Bushie revolution is going down the tubes now perhaps he's become so desperate he's spreading that ridiculous rumor as well. Andnusing creeps like you to do his dirty work, just as he used the religious right to spread the evil lies about McCain, and the phony vets groups to spread smears about Kerry's sterling war record.
