"the left wing media got away with it for years with no one to fight for us." It was not an instant thing. In the sixties journalist still existed. In the seventies yellow journalism became accepted by the left wing. Right up to Clinton, the press could be counted on to forgo the luxury of their politics when a juicy story reared it head. Hillary warped that out of existence. Thank goodness for balanced sources like Fox News. thank goodness for right of center entertainers like Rush Limbaugh. Thank goodness for conservative journalists like Laura Ingraham.
