I know it's changed. Probably since the Mexicans have taken it over, it's not an acceptable job for an American teenager, since he'd be seen by his peers as doing a job the Mexicans do. It's too bad, because it was a practical course in entrepreneurship for me.

This isn't the only job that has "gone Mexican". Roadbuilding, roofing, framing, tile work, stonemasonry, concrete work - the list goes on and on. These were ALL jobs that used to be done by Americans. Unavailable to Americans now, unless you can speak Spanish and they can't find a fellow Mexican.
