I read it more from the perspective of the societal impacts of so many educated women vs men. That will surely result in some cultural changes.

We really need to do more hands on learning,

The problem is complex.

The wealthy will always be okay. They can take care of themselves and their kids.

Parents who do not give a darn about their kids are a big problem. We have to find a healthy balance to take care of and educate their kids. We can't let them drain all our resources.

We have to concentrate our resources on parents who care about their children and their education. It has to be a partnership type thing. Parents have to buy into and have ownership of educating their kids. They don't have to know how to do it. They should be able to leave it up to the professionals. If they can be of help, that would be terrific. But, they have to care.

Right now, we are trying to do too much with available resources and becuase of that a lot of our resources are going down the drain, making matters worse.

We have to make choices. We can't be all things to all people.

That requires leadership. Leadership that is intelligent as well as gutsy.
