I read that report also and it could be that demand and sales for the high margin mobile chips is so high that intel is feeling the pinch trying to keep up with the low margin chipsets being produced on the dated(200mm 130nm process technology). Think they said that as the cpu's move over to the 65nm process they'll be able to make chipsets on 300 mm wafers and 90nm.

We'll know more on Thursday but it seems to me Intel is hitting on all cylinders and will probably have really high profit margins for this quarter, if not the highest they've ever had....so I'd say stay bullish with those Leaps...it isn't like me stressing out on January's options.
