Ed, I got out about a two weeks ago and took my loss. I think the Cardiff well was ~4 in well bores. Do you know if that is correct? If so - I think from now on any exploratory plays I get into I am going to ask the bore hole diameter. I never watched this before - but now I will. I think I got burned by that in the Wilma play last year in the NWT as well.

"AEN -- I personally think you gotta be nuts to be buying this stock right now" Ed Ajootian

I agree. And why buy the US shares? Can buy Canadian shares $0.19 cheaper (C$1.85 = US$1.57. Last trade in the US was $1.76)

Still, a heck of a lot more interesting international juniors out there besides AEN anyway. My favorite right now is Big Sky Energy (BSKO) . Another Kaz junior but with near term (ie this month) first production of ~3,500 net boed. Signed a farm out deal today. Stock back to pre-selloff levels. Lots to like about this company with the advantage of significant near term cashflow. And I estimate they have about a 20 well drilling campaign next year, so lots of opps for additional exploration success. Drilling mainly shallow (post salt) targets, but the farm out allows for a deep test of the pre-salt next year. And it's the pre-salt that contains all those giant Kaz fields...
