The reason it is silly, Laz is simply this: What on earth could you possibly say to a poster who posted to you to clarify after you dragged her name into a thread where she was not participating? All you can say is: "Sorry I started that up again, and thank you for clarifying that you were not driven off the thread--but left as a matter of values. I'm sorry I intruded. I tried to tell you this but the thread head had banned me (a problem with SI). So Solon is expressing my regrets and my thanks on the JTFM Thread, which I moderate." Does that adequately express what you would have said to P where you not muzzled by another party who didn't want you posting to anyone about anything if he could prevent it?
