Right. Blame AP. As if they're the ones to blame.
Clearly, after Murtha's dynamite anouncement rocked the White House and inspired the nation, Bush was under pressure to get up in front of the nation and spin the war as a success.

He did so, including false, phony overly optimistic reports of how well the training of Iraqi forces is going, more than TWO YEARS after we invaded. This is like the Katrina response, a totally inept bunch of leaders derelicting their primary duties. It's a national disgrace. And Bush lying to us about it makes it even worse.

Bush needs to get the impeachment boot ASAP.
